Office
of Ministry Formation: Finances
The
tuition for Formation for Ministry is shared
by the diocese, the sponsoring parish or
agency and the participant. The participant is also
responsible for the cost of the books.
The
Office of Ministry Formation bills the
parish/agency and you separately. If a
parish/agency is contributing more than
the designated amount, it is handled by you
and the parish. The Ministry Formation Office
doesn’t alter our billing to reflect these
independent understandings. The bills
may be paid in installments. We ask that all
payments be completed by March of each
year.
Those
who are self-sponsoring are responsible for
the parish/agency share, or a total tuition and the cost of the books.
Difficulty
in meeting these financial responsibilities
need not be a deterrent . Those who find
themselves in such a situation are
advised to meet with the director of the
program.
The
tuition pays for all expenses of the
program. The only exceptions are the
gratuities at the retreats.
