Office of Ministry Formation: Regional Sites

The Formation for Ministry Program is a group-centered approach to ministry formation 

that occurs at a site where 18-24 persons from a parish or cluster of parishes can be 

gathered. Faculty and staff travel to the local teaching sites of the program.

The Formation for Ministry participant chooses which regional site you will attend prior 

to the Opening Gathering in September of the 1^st Year. Community building among the participants in the regional site begins at the opening retreat and is integral to each meeting. Once the you choose a site, you are committed to that site for the two years of formation. While, on occasion, personal need may require class make-up at another site, it is the exception.
