The Kateri Institute recognizes that the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany covers a large area of 14 counties and over 10,000 square miles. Therefore, like FMP before, the Institute’s program will be offered at regional sites throughout the diocese. While on occasion participants from all sites may need to travel to a central location for some aspects of the program, in general faculty and staff will travel to the regional sites.
In order to provide the optimum community formation experience, each site usually has an enrollment of about 15 to 20 participants.
For Fall 2012 sites are located at:
- St. Edward the Confessor, Clifton Park
- St. Mary’s, Oneonta
- Our Lady of the Annunciation, Queensbury
- St. Joseph, Stottville/Stuyvesant
- Immaculate Heart of Mary, Watervliet
If possible, it is hoped that these sites will become more permanent locations for the program. Plans are also underway to open sites in the future to serve the remaining areas of the diocese.
