Office of Ministry Formation: Retreats

There are two required retreats in the FMP experience. Both are weekend retreats, 

which begin on Friday at 7:45 p.m. and conclude after lunch on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. 

You are expected to attend the entire weekend.

 

The opening gathering in September of the 1^st year, CALL TO COMMUNITY, 

focuses on group orientation,  community building, exploration of  "ministry" and 

communal as well as personal prayer. It is facilitated by a team, which includes the 

regional site staff.

 

The closing retreat is held in June of the 2^nd year. The timeframe is the same as 

the opening gathering. A committee of FMP participants develop the theme in
