“Spritual Resilience and the Ill or Aging Person”

A Free Pastoral Care Ministry Presentation

A free presentation entitled “Spiritual Resilience and the Ill or Aging Person” will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany’s Pastoral Center, 40 N. Main Ave., Albany, AND will be broadcast to the following videoconferencing sites for viewing:

- Our Lady of the Annunciation, Queensbury
- St. Edward the Confessor, Clifton Park
- St. Francis de Sales, Herkimer
- St. Henry’s, Averill Park
- St. Mary’s, Oneonta
-St. Patrick’s, Catskill

Melissa Kelley, Ph.D., associate professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling and faculty director of the Professional Ministry Practicum at Boston College School of Theology and Ministry, will present the Nov. 5 session, which will serve as a precursor to the 2017 Pastoral Care Annual Day of Retreat & Spiritual Renewal. Kelley is a nationally certified pastoral counselor through the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and is certified in Thanatology: Death, Dying and Bereavement through the Association for Death Education and Counseling.
