The mission of the school shall be to encourage positive socialization skills during a structured school day, with specific activities and play time in a safe environment, and to provide Kindergarten Readiness for 4 year olds.

The Parish's role will be to provide a safe space for the program, insurance coverage and supplies. The Pre-School Advisory Board is active in setting school policies and assists in the hiring of employees. The teacher will plan and implement a comprehensive and appropriate child development program for the classroom, working in conjunction with the assistant teacher and parent volunteers to foster the well-being and education of all of the children.

We will provide your child with a positive environment for his/her social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. Through interactive play, the arts, and educational activities, your child will have the opportunity to develop their imagination, talents and self-esteem. We will encourage their individuality, socialization and group dynamics skills.


This class consists of 12 children, who must be 3 years old by December 1st of the year they participate, who will be attending the 3 year program in the fall. The class will meet Wednesday afternoons from 12:30-1:30pm for 8 weeks, (March, April, May). Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Parents must fill out an application, sign consent form and provide an updated record of immunization for their child. There is a $50.00 Registration Fee (one-time fee), and the tuition is $80.00.


This class consists of 12 children who must be 3 years old by December 1st of their entry year. The class will meet Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11:30am. Curriculum for 3 year olds includes colors, shapes, concepts, holidays, introduction of alphabet and numbers, stories, singing, music and movement, and arts and crafts. Tuition for this program is $1,300.00; paid in full, or $130 monthly.  There is a $50 Registration Fee, parent or guardian must sign a consent form, provide up to date immunization records, and a copy of child's Birth Certificate.

Applications received after the class has been filled, will be placed on a waiting list.  Ifand when a space becomes available, it will be filled from the said list, in the same order that the applications were received, or if necessary, in the order to best gender balance the classroom.

It will be assumed that children, upon completion of the 3yr. Class, will go on to the 4yr. Class for the following year.  A space in the four year old class will automatically be reserved for each child in the 3yr. Class.   An additional registration fee for the 4yr. Class is not required.


This class consists of 16 children who must be 4 years old by December 1st of their entry year.  This class will meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-11:30am.  Curriculum for the four year olds includes letter and phonetic sound, numeral/number  concepts, science, dramatic presentation,  literature, music and movement and arts and crafts.  Tuition for this program is  $1,500.00; paid in full, or $150.00 monthly.  There is a $50 Registration Fee for new students; parent/guardian  must sign a consent form, provide up to date immunization records, and a copy of child's Birth Certificate.

The class will be filled with children who have completed the three year old program.  Any available openings in the class will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.  It is assumed that the children in the four year old class will be attending Kindergarten in September of the following year.  Individual Parent/Teacher conferences will be held in March to discuss your child's progress  inpreschool,  inrelation to other children your child's age, focusing on Kindergarten  Readiness.

SNACK: Our classroom is a peanut-free environment.  No peanut/nut products permitted.

Parents will be asked to supply a healthy snack (following the class list    (3yr:  lx/12) or. (4yr: lx/16).  A monthly calendar will be sent home letting you know in advance when your turn is. When your child is scheduled for snack, please remember to include a beverage. The following are suggested:

100% Juice

Cakes, cupcakes, brownies, donuts, rice krispies, cookies and ice cream may take the place of a nutritional snack!!!!!I for your child's Birthday Celebration at preschool.

Non-perishable items may be brought in to school in advance and stored for use on your designated day.  If you should forget snack on your scheduled day, please bring in an item that can be stored for later use.


Parents are welcomed to visit The Pre-School. Field trips are an enjoyable adventure and learning experience for the children, teachers and parents, too. Each class has at least (2) Field Trips per year, which requires the consent and participation of the parents as chaperones and for transportation.

The Pre-School will follow the ICC calendar observing the same holidays, conferences, vacations and snow days.  Weather Delays of (1) or (2) hours will change class times. The class will meet lO:OOam- 12Noon. Arrival Time changes.  Please check delays on the TV, radio or on the ICC website.


We cannot give your child any medication.  If your child is ill, please keep him/her home.  If your child has any fever, severe cough/cold, flu symptoms, conjunctivitis symptoms, diarrhea, or any other communicable disease, your child should stay home.  A child showing signs of a communicable disease will be sent home.


Tuition is due the first of the month, (September-June). However, thefirst and last month's tuition is due September 1st (2 payments for Sept. & June, combined). Payment may be mailed, given to our Parish Administrative Assistant, or placed in the 'slot' on the Parish Office Door. Checks returned for insufficient funds will have a fee charged to the check writer. Also, a $25 late fee will be assessed, for tuition that is not paid on time.


In the event that it is determined that the school is not meeting a child’s need, or behavioral issues need to be addressed, a conference with parents will be requested.  A referral to an outside agency may be recommended for the good of both the child and the program.  Persistence of such situation may then result in removal of the child from the program for the remainder of the current school year.  Implantation of the policy will involve the following steps:

  1. Notification of parent at the beginning of the monitoring for specific behavior as a preparation for the parent conference.
  2. Parent attendance in the classroom for an agreed upon time.
  3. Mutual agreement of school and parent for referral to an outside agency.
    * Absence of which will result in removal from the program
