From The Pastor

Dear Parishioners,

How are faith communities formed?  There are many ways...but I'd like to think we have something special here in our parish.  Drawn together by the proclamation of God's Word and the celebrations of our Sacraments, Holy Spirit has become a faith community that lives our the Christian life in the everyday moments of daily life.

We are God's people, the flock of the Lord.  We gather in the breaking open of the Word, and in the breaking of the Bread.  We go out among our families and friends, moving into the world to witness to the dying and rising of Jesus through the actions of our everyday lives.  We are called to share our gifts, to serve God and our neighbor; our parish is richer because of your participation.

Everyone is welcome here.  You are welcome here.  You will find us at church, in our schools, in work places, in the community and in our homes-living, loving and serving the Lord Jesus Christ.  Thank you for making Holy Spirit a celebration of your faith and life!  As God's gifted people, let us continue to go out and love the world for Jesus Christ.

Peace be with you!

Fr. Joseph O'Brien
