To be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Scotia at 7 p.m.   October 9, 2008 Saratoga Deanery Adult Formation Evening Topic:  ECUMENISM Presenter:  David Amico, Director of Office of Ministry Formation, Diocese of Albany At:  Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rte. 50, Glenville 6:30 - 9 p.m. (with light refreshments before).  $10 registration fee.  Call Faith Formation office for information & registration.   October 16, 2008 Stroke Prevention Screening; pre-registration (call 1-800-636-0418). Cost: $139 to $149.   October 18, 2008 Discernment for new members of the Pastoral Council (from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Parishioners are asked to nominate those who could best serve in this ministry. Two positions are open.   October 19, 2008 A Musical Potpourri: A Concert to benefit the Helping Hands Program of Our Lady of Grace beginning at 2 p.m. Featuring a variety of musical expressions: jazz, classical piano and violin, men’s singing group, solos and duets from Broadway and movie productions. Tickets will be $10 for general admission; $5 for children under 12.   October 25, 2008 The annual Parish Convening to be held at CBA in Albany. Keynote speaker is Bishop Matthew Clark of Rochester. The program runs from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and includes a variety of workshops.     Every Monday morning at 10 a.m. Bible Study programs are held at both Our Lady of Grace and Immaculate Conception. All are welcome.     Each Monday evening at 7 p.m. beginning on October 20 through December 1, a bible study program will be held at Our Lady of Grace. Sponsored by the Adult Faith Formation committee of our cluster parishes, the sessions will concentrate on the Gospel of Mark and will be led by Deacon Frank Thomas. Again, all are welcome.   October 26, 2008 Cluster Celebration of WORLD YOUTH DAY: 6pm at Our Lady of Grace, World Youth Day liturgy, celebrating youth and families. All young people and their families from Immaculate Conception, St. Joseph's and Our Lady of Grace are invited to attend and participate as musicians, and all ministries.
