The Duanesburg Senior Dining Center

The Duanesburg Senior Mealsite is moving to its new location at the Duanesburg Area Community Center on Victoria Drive, off Route 395 in Delanson.

The Center serves a nutritious noon meal, for people 60 years and over. When the seniors move to the Duanesburg Area Community Center, they will have opportunities to participate in many activities including physical fitness, computer training, continuing education, and other senior related issues.

Transportation is provided to and from the Dining Center, as well as for grocery shopping, and some recreational activities. A CDTA bus arrives daily at the DACC to take passengers to the Rotterdam Square Mall and back again.

Home Delivered Meals are provided for seniors who are frail and home-bound. A complete hot lunch is delivered to your home, with an optional cold sandwich supper, three days a week.

Our Aging Services Program will provide information, help with insurance, case- work and counseling, planning for long-term care, and much more. They offer topics of interest and importance for seniors.

If you, or somebody you know would be interested in finding out more about our program for area senior citizens, please call the center at 895-2662.

The Program is operated by the Schenectady County Office for the Aging under contract with Catholic Charities of Schenectady County.
