July 15-19 & 22-26, 2007 - Service Action Learning
Team:
Teens explore many of the important social justice issues that confront our Diocesan community including poverty, racism, unemployment and homelessness. Each day, participants will immerse themselves in hands-on service opportunities in the community, learn about the issues that effect the dignity of people and explore social justice in a truly Catholic framework. The goal of SALT is to give young people the knowledge and experiences needed to make a difference in their communities and become “salt of the earth.”
July 22,2007 - Parent’s Day Picnic:
National Parents Day. Parents sit back and relax while the young people host a picnic in your honor. This rain or shine picnic will take place at both St. Ann’s and Our Lady of Hope parish grounds or Hall at 3:00 pm.
