Ultreya

The Glens Falls Ultreya meets at St.Alphonsus Church on the third Friday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

The Spanish word “Ultreya” is derived from the Latin word for “onward” and was used by pilgrims in greeting and encouragement. Today the word signifies a meeting held following a Cursillo experience.

Those who attend a Cursillo experience and become members of the Cursillista community agree to live a life of evangelization and meet to share their real-life experiences as they accept the challenge Jesus lay before his followers: “Go and do likewise.”
