Join us for Breakfast at St. Gabriel's featuring Omelets or eggs (made to order), pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, coffee, tea, juice, and milk on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 8 a.m. until noon. Tickets for Breakfast at St. Gabriel's will be available only at the door. Tickets cost $8.00 for adults $5.00 for children under 10 years of age. Join us at the St. Gabriel Gym for fellowship, fun and a great breakfast while supporting our Parish.
Registration forms have been mailed out to all currently enrolled families from St. Gabriel’s and SMS Parishes for the 2016-17 Faith Formation program. If you are new to our parishes, or have children in grades 1 to 11 that you want to enroll in our Faith Formation programs, contact us ASAP at St. Gabriel’s Parish: firstname.lastname@example.org or 355-4193; or at SMS Parish: email@example.com or 355-3115. Registration forms will also be available on the information counters in both church gathering areas and online.
A Holy Hour for Life will take place on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM at St. Gabriel Church. Services will include exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, silent adoration, novena prayers for Life, Rosary and will conclude with solemn Benediction of the Holy Eucharist.
Any children/teens who like to sing or play an instrument are welcome to join the St. Gabriel's Youth Ensemble. Rehearsals are held at St. Gabriel's Church on Mondays at 5:00 PM. Also, anyone interested in singing with the St. Gabriel's adult choir is welcome to come to the rehearsals which are held at St. Gabriel's Church on Mondays at 7:00 PM. A men’s prayer group will meet downstairs at St. Madeleine Sophie’s Faith Formation Building at 7 pm on the first Wednesday of each month. During this meeting, the men engage in an open and forthright discussion about life, our Catholic faith and communal prayer. All men are invited and welcome to attend. Moderator is Father Leo Markert.
The Good Neighbor Program provides clothing care packages to local school aged children in need to help them feel confident and comfortable to face the school day. We accept gently used or new clothing for boys and girls in all sizes. We also always appreciate donations of new socks and underwear.
