Rite
of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
|
|
RCIA is offered for individuals seeking membership in the
Roman Catholic Church. It is a process through which the
individual may explore the teachings of the church, of
sacred
scripture and of life in the Christian community. The RCIA
process also serves to prepare persons who either are
baptized in other Christian traditions and now wish to
embrace and profess the Roman Catholic faith or are
baptized as Catholics, and now wish to celebrate their
First
Holy Communion and/or Confirmation. The sacraments are
celebrated at the Easter Vigil. Contact the rectory for more
information.
