MICHAEL’S FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM

St. Michael’s
Faith Formation Program resumes with Sunday morning classes
on September 16. Registration for the 2007/08 school year
takes place in the parish hall following each weekend Mass
on 9/18 & 19 and again 9/25 & 26.
Volunteer positions for catechists (and substitutes) are
available. Catechist training is provided at no cost. Please
advise Mrs. O’Connor if you might be able to donate an hour
or two of your time a week to the Faith Formation Program.

Faith
Formation classes for Middle School students (Grades 7 &
8) resume for the fall session at 6:30 pm on Monday, 10/15,
and continue on 10/22, 29, 11/5, 19, 26. Spring schedule
includes classes on 2/4, 11, 25, 3/3, 17, 24.
Faith Formation classes for High School students (Grades
9 & 10) resume for the fall session at 6:30 pm on Sunday,
10/14 and continue on 10/21, 28, 11/4, 18, 12/2, 9, 16.
Spring schedule includes classes on 3/2, 16, 30, 4/6.
Cancellations will follow the public school closings.
If the weather is severe during the day or on the weekend,
cancellations will be called into WCKM Radio and the NBC,
ABC, CBS television stations.
Note to Parents of Children ages three
to twelve:
Children’s bulletins are available at church entrances for
children ages three to six and seven to twelve. Activities
included in each bulletin relate to the particular weekend
Gospel. There is no charge for the bulletin.
Youth Ministry:
Youth Ministry, a group which looks to include teens into
the life of the Parish, is underway at St. Michael’s. Some
of the plans for Youth Ministry include service, social,
The Word, evangelization, education, and community-building.
Any teen (and his/her parents) is very welcome to investigate
this new concept by contacting Mrs. O’Connor, 793-6584.
