Someone in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, tell my brother to share the inheritance with me.”  He replied to him, “Friend, who appointed me as your judge and arbitrator?”  Then he said to the crowd, “Take care to guard against all greed, for though one may be rich, one’s life does not consist of possessions.” (Luke 12:13-15)

Capital Campaign Information

Our Capital Campaign to raise $500,000.00
to supplement our assets from the sale of buildings and savings began on Sunday,
July 22, 2007 with a Major Gifts Social hosted by Carolyn and Dennis Marino. In the photo, architect Jack Alvarez is explaining one
possible layout of the new church building (Photograph by John Chippari).  As a result of
the Social alone, we raised just over $200,000.00 in gifts and pledges.

The official kick-off was on July 28 & 29, 2007
at both masses. Deacon Warren preached (his homily is available below) and Jackie Jefferson explained the preliminary site plan and building concept. Catch the excitement! Help us realize our dream to build His Church and our new home by giving or pledging generously to the St. John Vianney Capital Campaign. Information is available below:
