CRS has served as the official international relief and development agency of the U.S. Catholic community since 1943. Under the direction of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, we aid the poor in 98 countries both by providing direct assistance and by working with partner organizations to alleviate the causes of poverty and social injustice.
