Ministry Opportunities
Junior Choir
(for grades 2-6)
New members are welcome anytime. Rehearsals are
Sundays from 9:20-9:50a.m. Throughout the school year.
Choir is scheduled to sing at least once a month, for all
major holidays, and First Eucharist. A rehearsal/mass schedule
is distributed in The Fall & Spring. 2nd graders
are encouraged to wait until Christmas to join us for the
rest of the school year.
Youth
Choir
(for grades 7-12)
New member are welcome anytime. Rehearsals are selected
Sunday evenings from 6- 8p.m. in the sanctuary.
We sing for “Celebration of Youth” Liturgies, for all retreat levels, Christmas, Palm Sunday,
Easter, Graduation, and Confirmation (Fall). A schedule
for the year is distributed In the Fall.
Adult
Choir
(for grades 9-Adult)
New members are welcome anytime. Rehearsals are Thursday
evenings from 7:30-9:00p.m. in the sanctuary. We sing
at Sunday liturgies, Holy Days, And special occasions.
Resurrection Choir
This ministry provides support in song to grieving families
at the funeral liturgy. A love for singing and the
flexibility to be available on short notice is needed.
Advance notice is provided by a phone call or e-mail.
Cantor
Ministry
(Youth grades 7-12 & Adults)
The cantor’s role is to lead the assembly in song.
Those who have a love for singing God’s praises can experience
leadership through sung prayer.
Workshops focusing on vocal technique and repertoire are
offered four times a year. Workshops are scheduled for
Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30p.m.
Instrumental Ensemble
(for 7th grade to adult instrumentalists)
Instrumentalists assist the piano in accompanying our choirs
on a weekly basis. Rehearsals begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday
evenings.
Special Liturgy Ensemble
(for 7th grade to adult instrumentalists)
Join us for special liturgies by signing up and attending
one mandatory rehearsal. Watch the bulletin for
dates and times for:
