Sacrament of Reconciliation
Saturday at 4:30 p.m. or by appointment
Sacrament of Baptism
Infant baptisms are usually celebrated on the first weekend
of the month (except in Lent). To schedule an infant baptism,
contact the parish office at 399-5713. Parents are expected
to attend a baptismal preparation class prior to their first
child’s baptism. Schedules for these sessions may be obtained
from the office.
Adult baptism is traditionally celebrated at the annual
Easter Vigil. Any adult interested in becoming a part of
our Catholic Christian community should contact Mary Salm
at the Faith Formation office at 384-0109. A period of preparation
(catechumenate) is required before receiving the sacrament.
Sacrament of First Reconciliation/First Eucharist
First Reconciliation and First Eucharist are traditionally
celebrated by the children in second grade. If you are interested
in having your child receive these sacraments, please contact
Mary Salm in the Faith Formation office at 384-0109.
Sacrament of Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in the spring
of the year for students in the 11th grade. Our Confirmation
preparation program is conducted in conjunction with our
sister parish - Immaculate Conception in Glenville. Anyone
interested in having their son or daughter receive this
sacrament, or any adult who has not yet been confirmed as
wishes to be, should contact Jillian Donohue at 384-0109.
Sacrament of Matrimony
Those couples planning to received the sacrament of Matrimony
must contact the parish office (399-5713) at least six
months prior to the planned wedding. This will allow
for appropriate time to complete required paperwork and
obtain the necessary documentation needed before the ceremony
can be held. A marriage preparation session (Pre-Cana) conducted
by the Diocese of Albany must be attended before the ceremony.
Anointing of the Sick
The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is available
to all those who are suffering from a chronic illness or
are to undergo surgery. For an appointment to receive the
sacrament please contact the parish office.
