Reiki I: First Degree Reiki Practitioner
Reiki is a system of healing using energy described as God's energy, universal life force, or love. Akin to the ancient practice of laying on of hands, Reiki promotes deep relaxation and inner peace, and stimulates the body's own ability to heal. In this two-day Reiki class for beginners, you will learn the history and principles of Usui Reiki, the hand positions for a complete treatment, and guidelines for practicing Reiki on yourself and others. You will be attuned to the Reiki energy and will practice giving treatments. Guest Instructor: Anne Dolen, Reiki Master who has practiced Reiki since 2003. Over the last 20 years, she has also studied therapeutic Touch, Integrated Energy Therapy, and Light Energy Meditation and Healing, as well as other healing techniques.
