Domestic Violence
Control ... Lack of Respect ... Isolation ... Jealousy ... Threats ... Intimidation ... Determining who you see ... Controlling Finances. Domestic Violence is the most common form of violence in our society. Domestic violence is not only physical abuse; it is any kind of behavior that one person uses to control another through fear and intimidation. It includes emotional and psychological abuse, battering and sexual assault. Violence, whether committed against family members or strangers, is against the Judeo-Christian message of love and respect for the human person.
