The Office of Evangelization and Catechesis seeks to enhance the parish’s role of support and partnership with families in the mission of formation in faith. In working toward that goal, consultations are provided in various models of catechesis that engage the generations and empower families in their sacred mission.
The Family Page is a publication of the OEC to provide families with a home resource for growing in their Catholic faith. The rights to reproduce The Family Page is given to all parishes and families in the Diocese of Albany. (See next page for a sample)
The Family Celebrates is a series of reproducible packets for parishes to distribute to families preparing for the sacraments of Infant Baptism, Confirmation, First Communion First Reconciliation or Marriage. Each packet is filled with prayer experiences and activities for at-home use. This is a joint publication of the OEC and the Office of Family Life.
