Credo (El)--Quien Es Dios Nuestro Padre? (ADULT)
This is the second in a series of six videos presenting the principal articles of the Creed. Each video presents real-life situations in documentary form. This video on Hispanic Catholics explores the fatherhood of God.

Our Lady of Guadalupe (JH, HS, ADULT)
The story of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Juan Diego reaches beyond place and time. Throughout history, God has used the poor and the powerless to act as social critics. Juan Diego, in his time, not only helped reverse attitudes of political and Church authorities toward native people, but he also initiated an experience of faith that has survived over four centuries.

Yo Trabajo La Tierra (I Work The Land) (ADULT)
This video is a visual mediation about the dignity of work and the serenity of faith. With English subtitles and almost no dialogue, this intimate portrait of a farm-working family reveals the toils and pleasures of summer work in the American Midwest. Beautifully filmed and simply told, this visual experience reaffirms the spiritual worth of all human toil. It is a contemplation of America's least visible that enriches us all. The accompanying study guide is bilingual.

Comunidad (ADULT)
This video is in Spanish with English subtitles. In response to the growing number of small church communities in many Hispanic and non-Hispanic communities, the U.S. Bishops offer this video to help answer the question, "What makes a community viable and Catholic?" Communidad shares the experience of one small church community in Pasadena, Texas. By following this group through prayer, study, discussion, parish activities, outreach, and evangelization, the viewer comes to understand the unique contributions such groups can make to the Church. The video is useful for existing small church communities and parish groups interested in forming such a community, as well as pastors and pastoral leaders. It includes reflections from Archbishop Patrick Flores.

Echoes of Faith: Liturgia Y Sacramentos (ADULT)
This is a Spanish language video which explores the meaning of liturgy and sacrament, and gains insight into why the sacramental life of the faith community is so central to our Catholic identity. Some core understandings addressed are: the meaning of ritual, the nature of liturgy, symbolic actions and the saving action we celebrate, and the seven sacraments and the experiences of life.

Echoes of Faith: La Iniciacion Del Catequista (ADULT)
This Spanish language video will acquaint catechists with the foundations of Catholic doctrine and tradition, and introduce them to the principles and practice of sound catechesis. The intended outcome is more competent and confident catechesis. Topics include: lesson planning, creaative activities, classroom management, and creating a social environment and an atmosphere for prayer.

Sacramentos en General (ADULT)
This is the first in a series of eight videos in Spanish which explain the meaning of "sacrament" and the special graces of the seven sacraments. Each program features real-life situations in documentary style and gives personal witness of Hispanics who tell how the sacraments affect their daily life. The videos are inspiring, challenging, and present thought-provoking questions that lead to group discussion. This first video gives a general presention of the meaning of "sacrament".

How Parishes Are Celebrating The Word With Children (ADULT)
This video provides an opportunity for viewers to visit four different parish celebrations of the Word with children including Anglo, Hispanic, and African American, where children celebrate the Word apart from the main assembly. The objective is to document real situations from which viewers can learn to improve their own celebrations with children. The accompanying Discussion Guide helps viewers draw upon the illustrations in order to articulate basic principles to guide them in their own efforts to nurture the spiritual lives of children. Discussion questions focus on: Sacred Space, the use of symbols, rituals, and music, proclamation and reflection of the Word, and the Creed. This video is recommended for use with two guide books: A Child Shall Lead Them by G. Pottebaum, Sr. P. Freeburg, DC, and J. Kelleher; and To Walk With A Child by G. Pottebaum.

On the Air: Racism: Going Color Blind (HS)
What's the best way to beat racism? Look on the inside. Racism is not so much in how you feel, but in what you do. In this episode of "On the Air", you will be challenged to think and to do something about race issues in your own life. We have not really come a long way from slavery, segregation, and the sixties, but this video challenges us to take one positive step at a time to do so.

Mestiza Virgin: Our Mother of the Americas (JH, HS, ADULT)
Produced in honor of the canonization of St. Juan Diego, this program provides valuable insight into the historical, cultural and religious significance of the devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Who Are My Sisters and Brothers? ... Welcoming Immigrants and Refugees (HS, ADULT)
Today, more than a million immigrants and refugees continue to come to our shores each year. They come to reunite with family, to find suitable work, or to escape persecution and civil unrest. They arrive with the same dreams and fears as those who came before. This is the story of three Catholic parishes that have discovered in the newcomer the face of Christ: Notre Dame d'Haiti Parish in Miami, Florida; St. Willebrord Parish in Green Bay, Wisconsin; and St. Mary's Parish in Greensboro, North Carolina. This video gives an up-close and personal look at some of the human faces behind the immigration debate in our nation; and examines why people are on the move around the world, who these people are, and how our Church is reaching out to them. This video is a companion piece to two publications: Who Are My Sisters and Brothers? In spanish and produced in honor of the Cannonization of St. Juan Diego, this program provides valuable insight into the historical cultural and religious significance of the devotion to our Lady of Gudalupe.

This is the story of Archbishop Oscar Romero and the courage that he found to stand up to injustice in El Salvador even at the cost of his life.

Un Camino De Esperanza: Rosario Devocion Del Pueblo (HS, ADULT)
(There is also an English version of this video: "Rosary in the Latino Community: A Journey of Hope.") El Rosario nos brinda un camino lleno de esperanza al reconocer que Maria nos acompana en el recorrido de nuestras alegrias, sufrimientos y gloria. Caminos De Libertad: Los Diez Mandamientos (Series) (HS, ADULT)
La serie, "Caminos de Libertad," Los Diez mandamientos presenta los mas sobresalientes articulos de nuestra Fe Catolica Romana contenidos en los Diez mandamientos. Puede usarse en conjuncion con el Catecismo de la Iglesia Catolica, cada video utiliza la forma documental donde se incorporan acontecimientos vigentes o testimonios de personas que revelan como estan viviendo su fe. La serie puede usarse como preparacion para el RICA (catecumenado), para grupos de oracion y situaciones semejantes. This is the first of a series of five videos. This video uses the prologue to John's Gospel to lead participants to experience the profound beauty of Native American culture and spirituality. It challenges the participants to become more aware of what it means to be in harmony with Nature, and gain a deeper appreciation for the Incarnation.
