Journey To Easter: A Lenten Program For The Whole Family (EL, JH, HS, ADULT)
Easter, the feast of the Resurrection, is a celebration of eternal life and of our faith in the promises of Jesus. It is a time to rejoice in the newness in our hearts and in the earth. This new life was bought for us at great cost - the suffering and death of Jesus. As Catholics, we commemorate this mystery during the 40 days of Lent preceding Easter. Hosted by Father Anthony Scannell, OFM Cap., this 7-part program presents one segment for each week of Lent. Viewers are guided on their journey toward Easter with greater insight and participation through the use of scripture, drama, and stories that deal with the concerns of life and the joys of reunion with Christ. The seven segments are: A Journey Apart (pardon and peace story), A Change of Heart (service theme and Mother Teresa), Who Are You? (theme of "seeing"), Lost and Found (the stray story), The Servant Comes (Eucharist themes), Way of the Cross (Shroud of Turin, and life of Father Maximillian Kolbe, martyr), and Light of the World (Easter themes).

Were You There? The Living Way Of The Cross (Emementary Grades 3-6, JH, HS, ADULT)
In this video, you will be taken through the events of the Passion by a combination of traditional images of the Stations of the Cross(from locations such as the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville, IL) with dramatic portrayals by professional actors of Pontius Pilate, Simon of Cyrene, The Woman in the Crowd, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jesus, and Nicodemus. If you have been making the Way of the Cross all your life, or if you have never experienced it, this program will enable you to share the special meaning of the Stations of the Cross as never before. This video is recommended for families and groups.

Enriching the Catechist--Parts 1 & 2 (ADULT)
This is the first in a series of three videos designed to assist catechists in their ministry. It consists of two sessions: Gospel Values and The Mystery of God. GOSPEL VALUES--This session opens with an explanation of why all catechesis should be centered on Jesus Christ and his teachings in the Scriptures. Then, it examines the gospel values that were taught by Jesus. These values were viewed by him as a way of fulfilling the law, and they are contained in the Beatitudes. The three gospel values we focus on here are: poverty of spirit, the call to holiness, and peacemaking. THE MYSTERY OF GOD--The first concern here is to better understand and teach the Mystery of God through the use of "caring parent" and other images. Then we deal with the perennial question of providence, or "why bad things happen to good people." Finally, it looks at God as Creator, especially considering the implications this teaching has for environmental concerns.

Jesus (HS, ADULT)
Jesus is a 95-minute feature film that presents the eyewitness account of St. Luke as recorded by the physician-apostle. The script for the film is an almost verbatim account of St. Luke's gospel. The video comes with a companion magazine which contains the dialogue and narrative of the video as well as eyewitness accounts from people today.

Children's Adoration (ADULT)
This video is dedicated to parents, catechists, and priests who want to lead young children to discover the hidden and loving silent presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Stations of the Cross for Children (Emementary Grades 1-6)
Children are guided in this video by Father Stan, a priest who often spends time in church to think and pray. He invites young viewers to accompany him as he makes the way of the cross. Each station is described in simple and clear language (and beautifully illustrated), so that children can reflect on what happened there. The primary goal of this video is to help children, ages 7-12, view the stations of the cross as an opportunity to follow Jesus more closely. It emphasizes what children can do today to be more Christlike after reflecting on what happened to Jesus at each of his fourteen stops on the way to Calvary.

Child's First Communion (Emementary Grades 2-4)
This video will give students a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Eucharistic celebration. Father Joe Kempf talks one-on-one with Adam, a young first communicant who is confused about what it means for Jesus to be "the Bread of Life." Their discussion, filled with simple analogies, explanations, and a visual portrayal of Jesus' presence in Adam's imagination, responds to the many questions young Catholics ask as they prepare for First Communion. An excellent catalyst for class discussion.

JESUS AND THE KINGDOM--The ancient Jewish hope for the coming of "God's Kingdom" was the keynote of Jesus' own ministry.
