Faithful Citizenship: A Matter of Conscience (Teens, Adults)
How is "faithful citizenship" a matter of conscience? Three 10-minute segments show how everyone can faithfully participate in the political process. Each segment helps Catholics learn how they can form their consciences in order to make important public choices. The 3 segments are: (1) English for Adults--Faithful Citizenship (2) Spanish for Adults, (3) English for teens--Go Make a Difference.

In the Footsteps of Jesus: Catholic Social Teaching at Work Today (adolescent, adult)
The central question of the dvd is: How does God call you to make a difference in the world? All Catholics, teenagers, and senior citizens, college students and RCIA candidates, pastors, and parish councils, Catholic school children and families - will be challenged to respond to it. Part one (9 minutes) provides a brief overview of the seven themes of Catholic social teaching and a summary of the scriptural and historical context for their development. In part two (19 minutes), each theme is highlighted through living examples.

Image Before My Eyes (Adults)
This award-winning documentary is a stunning commemoration of Jews in Poland between the two World Wars. It pays homage to the 3.5 million people who were destroyed during the Holocaust. Unearthing the stories of Jewish villagers, scholars, socialists, Ziojnists, and artists who built a thriving culture during a 900-year history, this film draws on the artifacts of a vanished world to recreate Jewish Poland.

Hiding and Seeking: Faith and Tolerance after the Holocaust (Adult, Young Adult)
A film about hope for the future, tolerance for the "other" and an exciting inter-generational saga about revisiting the past. This award-winning documentary tell the dramatic and emotional story of a Jewish father who journeys with his two ultra-Orthodox sons back to Poland to try to find the Christian farmers who hid their family form the Nazis. To his sons this is a land whose people are beyond redemption. The father hopes that if they can find examples of decency among Poles his sons will recognize the potential for goodness in all people.

Journey with Jesus: Gr 8/Culture: Gift and Blessing (Grade 8)
A five-lesson curriculum designed to give students a deeper understanding of their baptismal call to mission, to develop global awareness and a sense of the interconnectedness of all creation; to encourage students to reflect and become active participants in creating God's kingdom on earth. Includes DVD for all 5 segments and music CD and a teacher's guide complete with objectives, activities, and reproducible handouts. An excellent introduction to the concepts behind Catholic Social Teaching. Also available for Grades 6 and 7.
