Appallingly, we are again seeing the face of evil as Russian troops have launched an unprovoked attack on the people of Ukraine. We fervently pray through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, to whom our Diocese is consecrated, that this military action quickly ends, that causalities are limited, and we pray for the repose of the souls of those who have been killed and those who will no doubt lose their lives in the coming days.

Bishop Maginn High School has been a provider of quality education to its students since its founding in 1977. However, due to continued low enrollment and the rising costs of education, the school has experienced significant financial difficulties over many years.

Deacon Christopher J. Keough, parish life director at Transfiguration Parish, which has faith communities in Schaghticoke and Spiegeltown, was killed in a one-car accident Friday afternoon, Feb. 11, in Troy. He was 66.
