Parish Bookkeeping Support Specialist

Under the direction of the Diocesan Comptroller, the Parish Bookkeeping Support Specialist is responsible for: The support of parish personnel in the use of Diocesan mandated Parish Data Systems (PDS) accounting software and training of parish personnel, as needed, on how to use PDS accounting software. The oversight of the annual requests for budget and fiscal year-end financial reports from the parishes. Assisting parish personnel with bookkeeping and payroll questions. In the execution of these duties, the incumbent performs routine to moderately complex accounting tasks.
