We are blessed with many local parishes that have embraced technology and welcome all into their community by means of live streaming Sunday Mass via the internet. Reaching out to those who are homebound, or otherwise unable to attend in person, a dedicated team of staff, parishioners, and volunteers come together every Sunday to bring Mass to smartphones, tablets, and computers around the world. We thank you, and your viewers thank you!
Over the next few weeks, the Diocese of Albany will be featuring the live streams from some of our local parishes. We welcome you to explore www.rcda.org/livemass to view some of these online liturgies and ask that you please share the link with anyone who may benefit from these services. There are multiple parishes available for viewing, both live on Sunday morning, as well as on-demand.
We would like to take a moment to recognize Father Scott VanDerveer of the Church of St. Patrick in Ravena, NY. He, and his Camera Ministry team, have been pioneers in this endeavor to reach people who may otherwise not have another option to attend Mass in our Diocese. Thank you Father Scott and team!
We thank all the parishes that participate, and look forward to recognizing them individually over the weeks to come!
This week’s featured parish is Our Lady of Victory located in Troy, NY. Father Randall Patterson and his team, led by Vici Armsby, know the importance of reaching those who cannot attend Mass in person, and have placed a lot of time and effort into this program.
Please visit www.rcda.org/livemass for more information on all of these wonderful parishes, and the services that they offer.
