Parish Bookkeeping Support Specialist

Under the direction of the Diocesan Comptroller, the Parish Bookkeeping Support Specialist is responsible for: The support of parish personnel in the use of Diocesan mandated Parish Data Systems (PDS) accounting software and training of parish personnel, as needed, on how to use PDS accounting software. The oversight of the annual requests for budget and fiscal year-end financial reports from the parishes. Assisting parish personnel with bookkeeping and payroll questions. In the execution of these duties, the incumbent performs routine to moderately complex accounting tasks.

Assistant Director, Re-Igniting our Faith Foundation

The Assistant Director, Re-Igniting our Faith Foundation, is responsible, under the direction and in partnership with the Executive Director, for managing all elements of the Re-Igniting our Faith campaign within parishes of the RCDA to successful conclusion.


Catholic Charities is looking for volunteers to help with their Volunteer Income Tax Assistants (VITA) program. This program helps prepare income tax returns for low-income clients for free.

Part-time Custodian (St. Ambrose)

The Custodian position provides cleaning services, e.g. trash removal, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning etc. in the school (as needed), church, Parish Office, and the rectory. Schedule includes Sunday and the remaining days and times to be decided.


The sacristan serves as an arranger for worship services, ensuring that vestments and linens are arranged and ready, that altar vessels are kept safe, that consumables like altar wines and altar bread are in adequate supply, and that the church is kept secure and in veneration shape.


There is an immediate opening for a secretary at the law firm of Tobin and Dempf. The position is full time, with benefits, including parking in downtown Albany.

Sacramental Coordinator

The Sacramental Coordinator is a Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation who is responsible for coordinating the process of formation, celebration and mystagogy of the following sacraments: The immediate preparation for Infant Baptism, The immediate preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, The immediate preparation for Confirmation.
