Steps to Making a Report
Step 1: Emergency

If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911.
Step 2: Mandated Reporters

If you are a mandated reporter, call the New York State Mandated Reporter hotline: 1-800-635-1522

Step 3: Law Enforcement

Report the allegation to local police.

Step 4: Diocesan Officials

Report the allegation to Diocesan officials:

The Assistance Coordinator will respond within 48 hours. Reports will not be screened for credibility.
Allegations of abuse of minors received by the Assistance Coordinator will be reported to the appropriate District Attorney. Copies of reports will be sent to the Bishop, Diocesan Attorney, and Diocesan Review Board.
