Prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:17 - Pray without ceasing.

Philippians 4:6 - Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.

Romans 8:26 - Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings.

Prayer is the key to making it personal with God.
You don't become friends with someone unless you spend time getting to know them, and letting them spend time with you. Consider that God wants time with you. He longs for it. He created you in His image. He created you with a plan in mind (Jeremiah 29:11), a plan for your welfare, not your woe; a plan to give you a future full of hope. But you have to seek Him in order to know His plan.

The Catholic Church offers many forms of prayer. There is something for everyone. We hope - and pray - that the information shared he can help to enrich your life and grow closer to God, who loves you more than you can ever imagine.
