Respect Life

Bishop Scharfenberger will celebrate Mass to honor Our Lady of the Rosary and mark Respect Life Month on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Every Life

The annual Respect Life Program is a year-round, nationwide effort to help Catholics understand, value, and become engaged with building a culture that cherishes every human life. Click the image above for more information.

As a gift from God, every human life is sacred from conception to natural death.

The Office of Respect Life Ministry serves as an evangelization resource to promote the sanctity of human life in accord with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Pastoral Plan for Pro Life Activities: A Campaign in Support of Life. As an extension of this four-branched plan, and in service to the parishes, the Respect Life Office focuses on public information and education, public policy, pastoral care, and prayer.

40 Days for Life

TAKE A STAND FOR LIFE From September 26 to November 4, our community will take part in 40 Days for Life … a groundbreaking, coordinated international mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city — and beyond.
