Bishop Scharfenberger Announces Pastoral and Liturgical Appointments

Bishop Edward B. Scharfenberger has announced the following priestly assignments:

Father Daniel Quinn, pastor of Blessed Sacrament Parish, Albany, effective Sept. 19.
Father Quinn replaces Father Joseph O’Brien, who has resigned the parish and will soon receive a new assignment.

Father Charles Onyeneke, parochial vicar, Blessed Sacrament Parish, Albany, effective Oct. 1.

Father F. Richard Lesser, director, Permanent Diaconate Formation, effective Sept. 1, 2020.
Fr. Lesser remains Pastor of Corpus Christi Church, Round Lake.

Bishop Scharfenberger has announced the following diaconal assignments for liturgical service effective September 5, 2020:

Deacon Paul LeBlanc, Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes
Deacon Bernard McConaghy, Parish of Mater Christi, Albany
Deacon Aaron Tremblay, St. Henry’s Church, Averill Park
