“Why Kids Give Up, Fail to Initiate, and Lack Passion,” a free workshop sponsored by the Diocese of Albany Catholic School Office, will be presented by Dr. Randy Cale on Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 6:30 p.m. at St. Madeleine Sophie School, 315 Carman Road, Schenectady.
Dr. Cale, a seasoned psychologist, parenting expert and creator of terrificparenting.com, will offer his unique blend of short-term therapy solutions, focusing on common behavior problems, such as kids giving up when times get tough, raising kids who want more with less effort, and the ‘selfie’ generation that is self-obsessed rather than family- or community-focused.
Pre-registration is not required and there is no fee to attend. Open to the public.
