Evening Prayer (Vespers)
7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception
This event is open to the public and parking will be available in the lot behind the Cathedral, 125 Eagle Street in Albany.

The Installation Mass
Procession to begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 at the St. Edward the Confessor Church
In-person attendance to the event is by Invitation, which must be presented upon arrival.

The event is also being livestreamed on CatholicTV, which can be accessed on most major streaming and smart TV platforms (like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, etc).
While not everyone can attend the Installation Mass in person, parishes, organizations and groups are encouraged to host Watch Party events to participate in the real-time celebration.

How is an Installation Mass any different than the Masses we attend on Sunday? Is there significance in the readings, order of events, or even who is wearing what?
