While the number of people who can attend the Installation Mass of Bishop Mark O'Connell is limited, the Diocese is encouraging parishes, groups and organizations to host watch parties to promote fellowship and community.
The following watch parties are open for community attendance:
Our Lady of the Annunciation Church, 448 Aviation Road in Queensbury: Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch at begin to eat at noon together in the Parish Center. The church will provide beverages and desserts. Seating is limited, so registration is requested.
St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road in Latham: Doors will open at 1 p.m. for the event.
St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, 3804 Main Street in Warrensburg: A watch party and pot-luck luncheon takes place from noon-4 p.m. at St. Cecilia's Parish Hall. This is a joint celebration, with folks from St. Isaac Jogues of Chestertown and Blessed Sacrament of Bolton Landing.
St. Michael's, 80 Saratoga Avenue in South Glens Falls: Join the parish at 1:30 p.m. to watch the Installation Mass.
St. Patrick's, 66 William Street in Catskill: The watch party will take place inside the Parish Network Office.
St. Patrick's, 21 Main Street in Ravena: The watch party begins at 1:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be provided.
St. Pius X, 23 Crumitie Road in Loudonville: Doors open at 1:20 p.m. for this Watch Party. Attendees are asked to register online beforehand.
St. Theresa's, 5188 State Route 23 in Windham: The watch party is hosted by the St. Theresa's Women's Guild. The event takes place 1:30-4:30 p.m. with light refreshments served.
St. Thomas the Apostle, 35 Adams Place in Delmar: The event will be hosted inside the Chapel.
